SHAPE EVADE
Survivors · free on the App Store
A survivors game made of nothing but geometry. Circles, triangles and hexagons pour in from every side, your weapons fire on their own, and every level you pick one card of three. Five-minute laps, made for a phone held upright. Survive the lap, and the next one is tougher.
Six weapons, six evolutions
Each weapon evolves into something that behaves differently, not just hits harder, and the evolution comes only from a chest.
- ORBIT → RING. The shards fuse into one solid ring: no gaps, no cooldown.
- NEEDLE → DOWNPOUR. The volley goes out in every direction at once.
- WAVE → PULSAR. Every ring is a shockwave that throws the crowd back.
- CHAIN → STORM. Lightning from the sky on every jump; the last one lands like a hammer.
- SCYTHE → VORTEX. The blade circles you without pause and drags the crowd around.
- BEAM → PRISM. Twice the arms, sweeping faster.
Who comes for you
Ten kinds of enemies. Circles, darts and hulks in armor plates you knock off one by one. A colossus that shakes the screen, a splitter that bursts into shards, a charger that lines up and rams, a bomber with a lit fuse, a warden that shields the crowd, swarms that overshoot and come back, and an elite, the only one that drops a chest.
What drops, what happens
BLAST clears the screen. TWIN walks your own path a second behind you and fires your whole arsenal. THORNS make the crowd keep its distance. GUARD eats three hits. Events: a maze whose walls hold only you, a siege circle you have to stand in, an eclipse, a caravan of chests, a harvest. The floor remembers every kill, and a killcam shows who got you.
How it is made
One HTML file, no libraries, no sprites, no images: everything on screen is drawn from geometry. Every sound effect is synthesized; the music is a chiptune soundtrack by Juhani Junkala (CC0). It collects nothing and shows no ads.
Play it
Get it free on the App Store — no ads, no purchases, nothing to sign up for. Or play it in the browser on itch.io, no install at all.
Builds of what comes next go out first on TestFlight, public link, no invite needed.
Not on the App Store in the European Union yet: distributing there needs a verified trader status under the Digital Services Act, and that verification is under way. The browser version works everywhere.
